Legal Services

In addition to our Rehabilitation Services, the staff at Narconon Vista Bay understand that many addicts come into treatment with legal issues resulting from drug use. One of the best things we can do is to assist the recovering individual with these problems. This way, when the student leaves the Narconon Vista Bay program, they can confront and address legal issues from the past and begin living a new life.

We offer students help getting to and from any court appointments and we provide required services for those on parole or probation, including random drug screening.

For those looking to get released from jail to our facility we can also coordinate with attorneys and judges to assist with those needs.

Very often, students completing the Narconon Vista Bay program find that their legal cases are dropped or significantly reduced as a result of doing the program. The courts are used to seeing people in and out of jail and recognize when someone has really turned their life around.

My name is Aaron R. and I am 22 years old. I arrived at Narconon Vista Bay after being out of prison for twelve hours. My drug use always ended me up behind bars as both as a juvenile and as an adult. I started using at the age of twelve. I used meth, pot, alcohol, acid, mushrooms, cocaine, PCP, crank, and anything I could get my hands on. For many years I glorified my drug use and the life that I imagined came with it. At an early ge, I started committing crimes to support my habit. I did many things that I could not really understand at that point in my life.

After going to prison twice for forgery and violation of uniformed controlled substance, I was out on the streets again. I had a good job and a good apartment, but I still had the same behavior patterns and perceptions that I had from the streets before. I was out for only 47 days when I committed a burglary landing me three years in prison. I did my time in Washington state. The penitentiary did not assist with my chemical dependency problem at all despite repeatedly asking them for help.

My sister found the Narconon Vista Bay program on the internet. I knew that it was my last chance to make things right with myself and my family. I decided to go. I got out of prison and arrived at Narconon Vista Bay that same night. The staff here is awesome and gave me a warm welcome. I was very comfortable. It was nothing like the other rehabs I had been to.

Since my arrival I have gained confidence in who I am and have found many of the answers to my questions. I continue to do my studies and I recognize where I am headed in life. I have direction again. My family has my back now too. It feels good to be clean and to be a part of this place. Coming to Narconon Vista Bay has been the best decision I’ve made in my life. I am taking control.

I encourage anyone to find out for themselves. It can change your life. It has already started huge changes in me.

Prior to coming to Narconon Vista Bay I spent 8 months in jail in Fort Worth Texas. I had been a habitual criminal for most of the past 20 years and the court wanted to give me a sentence of 20 years. Initially, they were not flexible at all. I came to Narconon Vista Bay and all that changed.

The staff here at Narconon Vista Bay has helped me in so many ways. One of them was with my legal problems. When I first got here I was required to report to bond probation every 60 days. Within days the staff assisted me in getting excused from having to report to the court.

For the first time in quite a while, I have hope that I will not have to spend the next several years in jail. This program is great! I believe in the program so much that I am going to devote the next part of my life to helping people get the same benefits that I have gotten.
